We’re committed to making charitable donations, hosting community-oriented events, and ensuring we operate our business in line with the environmental stewardship and community support we hold at the core of our values.
Through our partnership with 1% for the Planet, we are giving back directly to environmental non-profits based in the Tahoe Basin
that embrace our ideals of environmental education and enjoying and protecting the Sierra’s cherished landscape for generations to come.
The Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships, or SWEP, connects local school children to vital environmental initiatives through watershed education and community service. SWEP has been a Tahoe area institution and part of the Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District since 1996.
The Truckee-based non-profit organization Biking for a Better World helps raise funds and awareness to support the cycling community in Tahoe and beyond. The organization helped erect the Truckee Bike Park and has also contributed support for disabled sports programs,
local trail foundations, and area schools.
The Sierra Avalanche Center is a non-profit organization that seeks to inform and educate backcountry travelers in the Sierra Nevada mountains about the current snow, weather, and avalanche conditions, helping keep winter recreational ists safer.
